THE GENESIS
Education is considered as a support for building a Healthy Nation. Today's young students are tomorrow's citizens of the country. Higher Secondary Education (+2 Science) is the basic education to all hiher Technical Education and career of student. Just like better industries/ factories produce best products, so also good institutions having better infrastructures, produce good and talented students.
Basing on this theory, Govt. Junior Science College, Ayeba, Kendrapara having best environmental and serene atmosphere at Mancheswar have ambition to impart good education and produce good students. The atmosphere here is very much different from other existing colleges.
The institution is established away from Town and Village and good study atmosphere prevails here. In addition, it aims at total ersonality development of the students besides developing their communication skills and leading a sportive and spiritual life. With this objective in mind, Govt. Junior Science College, Ayeba, Kendrapara is established in the year 2008. The College is recognized by the Department of Higher Education. Govt. of Odisha, Bhubaneswar and affiliated to CHSE,Odisha.

Govt. Junior Science College, Ayeba, Kendrapara is the first residential +2 Science College in Odisha established in the Kendrapara to meet the growing demands of quality +2 science education.College is a constituent unit of “Gandhi groups of Institutions” which has already established 10 technical institutions in Odisha and also has a decade of proven track record of imparting global standard of technical education in Odisha. Since its inception in 2002, the college has grown to one of the most respected and reliable +2 Science College in Odisha.
The college has hostel facility as well as day-boarding facility. For day-boarding students transport facility, Veg-lunch and refreshment, reading room is available. It has its own sophisticated campus with canteen, playground, 24 hours power supply, stationery store, broadband internet facility etc.
Apparently, the College is largest in terms of faculty strength and widely networked +2 science colleges in the country. Innovating and adopting new methods for +2 science education, jointly focuses on +2 science CHSE syllabus and grooming the student for Jee-Main, Jee-Advance, AIPMT &. It also empowers the students to bear the best by making available all support systems like library, well equipped laboratory and air-conditioned audio-visual classrooms.

The founder of Govt. Junior Science College, Ayeba, Kendrapara, has added another feather in its cap by establishing a new residential-cum- day boarding college totally dedicated for girls, the first of its kind in the State of Odisha. Odisha and recognized by Govt. of Odisha will enroll girl students from the academic session 2010. Hostel facility is available in the heart of the city very close to the college. For day-boarding students transport facility is also available.

The total number of seats ¡s only 192 in each class of the two year +2 course as GBIST emphasizes on quality and not on quantity. The subjects in which teaching is imparted are:

Students are allowed to take Biology as a compulsory or a fourth optional subject as per their aptitude. The college authorities reserve the right not to allow any student the option of taking the fourth compulsory subject if he/she is found to be unsuitable.
